My future BMW M3 (History)
The newest addition to the M3 family, is distinguished by advanced mechanical and technical solutions, and clearly inspired by Formula 1 , as been for the last M5. In fact, the biggest turning point is that this car BMW has abandoned the scheme pluricollaudato six-cylinder in-line for a leading 8-cylinder V called S65B40. Is the displacement of 3,999 cc , and develops 420 hp with a torque of 400 Nm at 3900 rpm. This engine derives directly from the powerful V10 5 liters of E60 M5, which were removed two cylinders. This weight saving is made possible by the massive use of aluminum alloy for the engine.
